I’m pretty sure it’s a happy ending, and they choose to be lovers, but also brothers at the same time. like when friends become lovers, sometimes they give up their friendship to be in love, but for these two, they decided to choose both, and ended up being brothers, AND lovers. i think it’s cute, and I always come back to reread this,,.

I really think they chose to be lovers and brothers. The brothers said "are you really okay with me? Lets stay together" i think thats them admitting and accepting e/o feelings and owning up to it. So yeah prolly when they leave home thats when big changes in their relationship will happen.
