auditioning 4 my school concert.i practised.
My voice is kind of an achievement. I loved singing silly things in school with a friend who was a very good operatic soprano. She used to mock me saying I could only do so far as be a backing vocal. Then I started karaokeing anime songs with friends who loved singing, like me. They were very supportive. So I took the guts to get into singing lessons around college... got into an anisong band, participated in anisong karaoke contests, all very faily. My singing teacher saw my eagerness to sing and pushed me further and further. She said I had a very high soprano voice for Opera and I decided to take on the challenge, which was tough rough training. Now, I've managed to do things I've never thought were imaginable given my background. I've sung Phantom of the Opera songs, Leonard Bernstein's Candide (Glitter and be gay and other songs) and me and my teach are planning to push me to sing the aria of the Queen of the Night. x333 And my friend? We met again when I was in the anisong band a couple years ago. When I told her what I had been doing, she looked at me in derision and said 'You? In a band? *giggles*'. But y'know? Who cares. Shun on the non-believers! I'm a good singer now! o
