There was no unresolved ends. I’m sorry, but those who kept defending and saying Hozumi has traumatic issues to the point of being crippled, hence the endless crying, projected WAY TOO MUCH of themselves onto him, when it was clear the author never intended to take it so far, and was clearly gonna wrap everything up loosely. This is not disregarding people who connected to his abandonment of their parents, not at all. You’ve experienced the real trauma, and you’ve indeed come a long way.

But you see, this was never a case study on how Hozumi was gonna deal with this so called trauma people believed him to have. It was already obvious cos whenever he cries, SHOUJO BUBBLES always surround him, that whatever issues he had was gonna be lightly touched on, solved by the power of yaoi. The author simply thinks it’s cute and resolved everything with a sexed up happy ending. The fact that he is ok with his mom giving up everything for her partner the way he says he would for Yamato tells you that it’s already unrealistic in the first place. Nobody in RL thinks like that. That’s really all there is to it, and it’s disappointing, for the readers who thinks he bloody cries too much like a hysterical uke gone wrong, and for the readers who experienced genuine abandonment issues from their own parents. But unfortunately this is yaoi.

I'm with you on this... Such a lack Lustre ending for such a potentially good story... I'm a lil disappointed too...
