I do not remember where I read it, but the manga had to go on forced hiatus because the mangaka was being sued over plagiarism issues - I am not sure exactly what happened there either, so unfortunately it is not her fault that there have been no updates. Apparently, though, there will be new issues in 2015.

You are correct, it was another mangaka that was having those problems. As I said, I was not sure on the matter, but when I did a google search, her health issues were stated as being the reason the manga has gone on hiatus (on a number of occasions apparently) Thanks for clarifying this for me...I could not understand how this manga would be a plagiarisation of another, it is too original. (wish I could remember which major manga it was that was having this issue ... for some reason this was the one that came to mind ... ooops)
