He explained that whole story wrong. Yes he post it while drunk as a joke. But he took the lessons seriously!! At least thats the impression I got.... and finally when he caught feelings for the other he decided to take down the post. He just made it seem like he was stringing him along the entire time as a joke. Or am I wrong???
