Main story: Even if he was trying to make a point that he would never hurt him, I agree that he was overdoing it: he took it way too far because he didn't just do either the knife-play OR the brutal assault, but BOTH knife-play and brutal-assault... That's TWO violent actions just to prove ONE point, that's overdoing. Even if he's a gangster/mobster, mobsters can be protective of their own families even if they may act violent to anybody else. Which means, there are gangsters who are violent with people outside their family to protect their own status, and then there are abusive psychos who just like to mistreat their own families to feel more powerful: this guy is clearly the second type.
Clingy guy story: Author said the goal was to create a scary seme, so she succeeded. She said she had the storyboard for a continuation but it was rejected because it failed to develop their relationship any further. She said she thinks they will just stay as they are. Poor uke...
Soccer story: cute, but I don't get why it was published along with the other two, cause it felt like it didn't belong with the others, or the others didn't belong with it... I don't know. O.O
