Frankly... alot of us western readers don't really relate to eastern sensibilities as far as romance goes. As far as I see it, most story relationships revolve around honor and consequently the "eye for an eye" concept. i.e. ...we prob won't understand the final choice.
Honestly I think the first guy is still the worst choice only because the author gave him some BS redemption quality.... when he was still crap to her after her transmigration. (like if her step mom was decent to her, you think she'd be ok being nice to her after she sent that rapist on her during the family get together???)The other guy at least treated her better when she was a super tsundere to him and he only seperated to distance himself.

first of all... you make it seem like she chose her body to rebirth in. lol I think the intention was to show she couldn't escape her fate of being on the stage. Look at the family she got stuck with... and she was already with an agency. She just turned to her only skill she had in her previous life... to be a singing diva. Honestly alot of the drama is poorly handled imo... its so melodramatic which I think is just an eastern standard. I think Li Lei is an ok bf... i mean she was so tsundere with him... and he's only distancing himself to protect the FL. Zi Peng is the only trash. I don't understand how the author can make him a lunatic for her for so long and then attempt to write him a redemption arc...
