I dislike her too, she has a twisted sense of naivety. The look on her face when she sees athy with her father make me concerned. Someone please spoiler it rotten
I totally agree, it makes me want to punch her whenever she tries to say that Athy is her sister and they will be a family. Like no sis...leave them the fuck alone! I hate how she thinks everything has to revolve around her.
In the novel, Jeanette isn't that innocent, Athy feel something was off with her several time but she just brush it off thinking she was overthinking. The way I see it, Jeanette more like some insensitive ignorant child who only cares about her own feelings but oblivious when it comes to others people.
Jeanette really makes me uncomfortable and annoyed every time she pops up. I know she has good intentions but everything about her doesn’t sit right with me.
