I thought there was going to be a hiatus buuuuut I was proven wrong! The tweet mentioned may have been a misunderstanding (I'm going to guess the estimate release of Volume 3) or referring to the pace of translations internationally. (￣∇￣") I just bought it and spoilers:
Koichi and Caius end up together. Yes they have sex in the newest chapter. Yes you see the ghost of Kochi's mother. So back on Earth, reality was changed and instead Koichi and his parents died in a car accident. Unfortunately again my Japanese is baby level, so if anyone can help translate the chapters I own properly, it'd be appreciated.
Also there's going to be new characters introduced? Hint: We have the titans, beasts, and now the third group: Elves......?! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
