It's adapted from a french graphic novel I don't know if an English version actually exist and if that is the case I doubt you would find it online.
I bought the graphic novel years before the movie was made and I really liked it.I don't think the movie is a very good adaptation.
actually i found it in english but not online i had to download it
the movie was more loosely adapted to the graphic novel not many similarities in fact, the story in the movie take a less tragic course, the ending felt so real to me that's way i loved it not your typical happy ending ^_^
