Udou's so scared of falling even deeper. Not to mention, he's sure that Takeuchi's still straight, and his apparent attraction is just because of his kindness and the spur of the moment. Udou wouldn't be able to stand dating Takeuchi and being dumped and abandoned later.
But yeah I can understand poor Takeuchi, who is starting to chase after Udou, but is being rejected and even cruelly tricked at the end.
Fuck this. My heart is tearing in half for the both of them.
Psychologically speaking there can be some insecurity left when someone, gay, bi or, lesbian dates someone that claims themselves straight. I don't thing Udou would have been happy in a relationship with Takeuchi anyway for this reason. Number one, his pride is far too high to actually talk this through with his partner (which is what i did since she was originally straight...in fact she still is. i just happen to be the exception the way i am in most things in her life). Anyway, another reason i don't think it will work out, is that i don't think Takeuchi has a full grasp of this situation. His mindset about relationships is more childlike that Udou's. More positive yes, but also one that clashes with Udou's more negative outlook...which leads to reason number three, even if there were none, Udou would find a problem due to his negative thinking....anyway, thats all. In the end i still hope they get together.

I feel bad for Udou, but I mean, he's only making it worst off for himself! I feel more for Takeuchi! Imagine yourself as a guy and working up the courage to pursue another man only to have it thrown back in your face. Ouch. I know that's why Udou's scared but sending a girl to the hotel room was just stupid.
