No actually, y’all, I don’t think the mother should be killed.
Because that would all be too easy.
I hope Lilith succeeds in her plan to go against the story (and have a good life of her own), while the mother has to live a long long life with the knowledge of how pathetic, hollow and meaningless her own life is, and that she can’t live through her daughter anymore.
