I really love the story with baby Misaki and his brother. So touching and sad. I feel like whoever thinks Misaki is "selfish" or "annoying" should read this; it really sheds light on his struggle with 'not being a burden'. After his parents died, he resolved to not show sadness or cry (any vulnerability), to be strong. And to love is to be vulnerable. His parents loved him and he believes that got them killed, and he's terrified of being left behind, so that all amounts to the clusterfuck that is his emotions towards Usagi lol. Just my thoughts.
