U r right. But he was rejected several times already (as MC said). So just only be by his side and see him with another guys d be painful. So his right choice here is only one - to fall in love with another guy.

Technically, if I was the bestfriend I do not want anything to do with the twin brother let alone be a lover. Imagine seeing everyday the face of the one who managed to steal the person you have been in love for since a long time ago and possibly having sex with them. That just wont sit right with me. But that is just my opinion.
