I just... think that he said too much for something that should be none of his concern. It's just seems like he doesn't know the entire situation, and who knows, maybe it would really be painful and can cause emotional damage if she continued to stay with him. Us as the reader and him don't know the entire story, and labelling her as a 'bad mother' when you don't know what she's done for her child and how she feels about her child is just out of line in my opinion.
