Better than most shoujo mangas where the mc falls in love with the male mc because he showed kindness in the very first chapter. It's the same old story but the progress is believable and realistic. The guy suddenly doesn't just become a sappy romance lover because of the girls, heck, it takes him 60 chapters to realise why he gets irritated around her and I am a sucker for slow burn romance. All in all, the same old but the slow burn really worked for me. I don't like the mangas that are like "oh he/she showed me one act of kindness so I will fall in love practically in the first chapter. Hate that cliche even more than the amnesia cliche in this manga.

Totally agree with you..it is one of the very few shoujo manga I still read and wait for an update. Another point is I've seen a lot of people dislike Yu but for me she is actually the reason I continued this manga all those years ago. I can't read a story if I don't like the female lead. She is quite a refreshing character. True she doesn't have any special qualities but I love her courage and determination and she really cares about all her friends and not just the one she loves. She is not petty, quite simple minded (albeit still have low self-esteem), forgiving and always try to see the best in people even if they hurt her.

Absolutely. People say she's annoying and such but I have come across even more annoying characters than her. Atleast Yuu tries to change given the circumstances and not only that, she also understands why and how kurosaki feels as he does. She knew what he felt when he asked her to get lost during Valentine's day, she understood when he asked her to hide their relationship and she stood up to him as best as she could. I was really sad to see all the hate that she was receiving but well, I totally dig this story. I love the hate relationship, I love Kurosaki being absolutely dominant and marking his territory (it was so freaking hot) such.
