I see you don't understand many things, much more of reality in industry.
Wonho was abusive towards Minki. That's for sure. He wronged him. But he was also wronged.
Taeyoung is a guy who got to fame thanks to connections.
Minki also is not a saint. He knew that his partner was sexually exploited, he knows his fellow actors and actresses are sexually abused...but still he doesn't really care because he doesn't have such problem.

I totally agree, minki never really done anything about it nor tried to reach out and help wonho. He just all caught up with his own relationship loyalty drama never really truly undertanding wonhos struggles.

He even admitted it, and he knows that it was his greed and feeling inferior that he kept using himself to get to somewhere. now, should I feel bad about that and blame minki instead lmao. at the end of the day, he knows it was his choices that made them all happened. Also, Eunwoo was in that industry- maybe you're the one who didnt understand how it worked

Wonho is a very skilled actor. He was one of the best in acting school. He is more skilled than Minki. But he didn't have luck (like Minki..or Minki had also connections and we don't know about them but I guess it was more about Minki having certain desired looks), he doesn't have connections. Although he was absurdly talented, skilled and hardworking actor but it was made CLEAR to him by his own BOSS that he has to start selling his body to get anywhere. It's reality of people all over the world. Haven't you heard about Metoo movement? Or how Korean idols commited suicide because they were sexually exploited?

It's not so simple. You call it a choice? Greed? Inferiority? Of course he felt some inferiority when his less talented partner made it and he had to "lower" himself to sell his body. He was ashamed, he was disgusted by all of that. But although he tried very hard he didn't get roles.
Can you imagine you went to med school, lawyer school and you passed it with flying colours... And then you learn that you can't work if you won't sell your body? Why being an actor is treated by everyone as if it's not people's job? How should he have made ends meet without roles?
And in the end it was clearly shown: Wonho although he was already famous, popular actor was destroyed just like that, used as a scapegoat on a whim. Because in the end he was still nobody from poor family without connections. His talent, skills, passion didn't mean anything.

I don't have much sympathy for Eunwoo, he is privileged boy with connections who got everything on silver plate. He is one of the sponsors exploiting actor(s). His biggest problem was one-sided obsessive love.

I think both have their share of why their relationship failed I dont think I only would blame Wonho for this. Wonho being desperate and minki who cannot let go despite repeatedly being hurt by wonho. Remember they only broke up when other people became involve. They only saw their destructive behavior into its peak becuase of others involve. Both have thier issues. I say a codependent relationship dynamic.

I mean if I would explain it further Minki as the codependent and Wonho as his Narcissists. The story is about how he got out from this difficult relationship and how he found our a healthy one with Teayoung. You guys can research more on that. It's the best explaination in this. I think the author knows this and that why the story I find it well written.

I believe I understand as much as you do, but the problem is you keep trying to dig deep on how you can defend wonho's problematic choices, and cant admit that alot of his sufferings rooted from that as well. It was already part of the problem of the industry, he knows as much. He could've stopped it after some time- he even once chose to say NO to his BOSS at some point, that just shows how he can do so much better if he got the balls to make the right choices. You can't just blame everything to people who have things better. Like I said, at the end of the day, it's his choices. He did it AGAIN and AGAIN. so many times- even if he's already known- he keep wanting more and divulging into the same technique. Minki didn't have any connection either- he lucked out. don't go around telling people they don't understand what they read or something that goes around the world just bc you want to defend a character's trash choices. He was ruined at the end bc he finally said NO to his trash boss. He knows it gonna happen any other way, the thing is he let it happened too late. he was already in that place too deep, only realized that when he finally lost someone that truly mattered to him.

i understand that. ofcourse, couples work both ways. but wonho was abusive too, at some point, to minki. he was forcing himself on him just so he won't have to confront the problems head on. their relationship was obviously a ticking bomb.

regarding eunwoo, of course he was a twisted sicko character, he need just as much treatment as wonho. but didnt you read how he was already supporting wonho as a rookie without anything in return?? (thats also the reason why wonho went soft on him after everything) but then when he had knowledge that wonho got himself involved in sponsoring- his "obsessive love",just like you said, made him go for problematic choices like wonho. he was obv ONLY sponsoring for wonho. anyway, i retrack what i said on my op about my heart hurting for eunwoo-fuck them both. a redemption arc wouldn't be so bad tho. and i feel like if eunwoo and wonho heal together (can be expected bc of the side story), eunwoo can do things to revive wonho's acting path. not everything is the end.

But...what right choices?
Wonho tried and tried and tried and didn't get anything. Then the he sponsorship was proposed. If he would have refused , he would have then been viewed as an unreliable client and basically have no chance of getting work in a career he has talent for, and has spent years working towardt the end of the day.

Wonho is also a victim and you are trying no to see it.
After years of such treatment he was hounded,paranoid and ruined man.
Was he abusive towards Minki? Dod he wrong him? Yes
But let's not downplay they way he was wronged.

Wonho faced enormous consequences and he was a victim too. Eunwoo wasn't a victim at all, he was abuser and didn't face any consequences. There is a difference, don't you thin?
Wonho lost his beloved boyfriend, who despises him, he lost his career he has worked his tears, pain and very soul and body for. His image is completely ruined. Nearly no one would remember him for a genius actor...but that actor from sexual scandal. For narrow-minded majority who don't understand the reality who would be classified as a "whor*".

Eunwoo is sick character. And I can't stand that the author will pair him with Wonho.
At the end he even had audacity to blackmail Wonho (with hands of some director) to have sex with him. The guy was breaking "their contract" over and over again, getting invested in Wonho's life, relationship, stalking him, being completely obsessed and posessive over him. But when Wonho didn't want to have sex, when he said something is painful... The "contract" ("contract" because it's literally power imbalanced sexual exploitation) was magically valid.
He didn't have even the minimum decency and couldn't let him go in the end.
When Wonho had mental breakdown, was crying his eyes out. What Eunwoo did? He whispered toxic venom and blamed everything on Wonho to break him even more. That he is greedy, that's it's all his fault. Said by privileged kid. Seriously laughable. And he is supposed to love him...
He is obsessed and posessive and didn't change in the slightest.

Like what balls. We are talking about South Korea and sponsorship. Sponsors are above the law, and involved in EVERYTHING, acting, idols, sports, it's rampant. Him refusing equals him getting no job, him being ruined. And used as a scapegoat... Which happened in the end. The process would be just faster if he refused earlier at some point.
The gay men was forced to sleep with women. That's why Minki have silent approval to that and got furious when he learned that now Wonho started "sleeping" with men too. The only help Minki provided was silent agreement.
