I think the guy liked the brother, but the brother was just airhead, holding no special feelings for the guy. That might be the reason the little brother went after the guy
Like was the dark haired guy really going out with the brother or were they fuck buddies or was the brother just interested in him and they were friends, then he went and got a woman pregnant? And why would the other guy boldly go after him knowing that?
