I have a friend like him. I once asked him why he said to others he was straight when he was dating a man like him. He said that he said he is straight, but only gay for only his special him. I think people like him are called heteroflexible (i don't really remember the name butit sounded like that), which means that they are in fact straight but they don't have a problem on dating someone with the same sex. Is like they just gay/lesbian for that person only, so they still like the other sex. I don't know if you understood... but yeah
