Ok..I'm also confused, but this is my guess. Atsushi (singer) and Takase (his sisters friend) bond over a love of music and lyrics and become lovers. They get so caught up in each other that the music gets forgotten, and when they realise they both think that they're ruining everything for the other one. After they separate they join separate bands. Then Atsushi and Kenji go to a concert by Takase and Atsushi listens to the sound, and realises that it was written/created with him in mind. That's why in the end the random girl goes to Kenji and says "Takase never saw me, it was all about music and Atsushi from the beginning".
