This webcomic is very realistic in the portrayal of Korea’s Conservative culture

I was reading about Korean culture because of this webcomic and holy cow, this comic is accurate. Women are essentially ostracized from society if they end up accidentally knocked up or have to leave the father for any reason. Families disown the women, jobs are harder to maintain or find, opportunities for future relationships are gone. Their government does little to support them and it’s not illegal to skip on child support. There is one non government support group that helps single mothers as much as they’re able to.

To me, MC is a very brave woman for wanting to stick to her morals despite the stigma and potential hardship. It’s more understandable why other characters are making such a big fuss, but it’s sad how this is an accurate reflection of Korea’s society.
