My friend is supposed to be use an online translator to help her translate some of her Japanese homework. Do any of you have some good suggestions? She can't find any that are easy to work.

I use Google Translate to translate some Japanese raws so I could read the manga. It's not perfect, so I also supplement with this: http://www.romajidesu.com/ this one is really good because of all the related words listed together and the list of kanji given.
and then, if there is still no result I'd google the Kanji. Usually there are some results from questions already asked in forum and stuff. when you google, type the kanji and an English word together else you'll get Japanese websites in the result. example: 'kanji word' meaning/ 'kanji word' translation/ 'kanji word' english translation
    Good luck (●'◡'●)ノ
