I mean we don't get to dictate this fictional character's trauma. Only the author can say the level of trauma for their character since even in real life it varies. I can easily that trauma especially on this subject is different for everybody. I think that you just didn't like it due to what you had seen and you preferred him in a romantic relationship. (i do to but I'm not going to hate on this or the people who chose to like and read this.)
