In the next chapter Umi tells her he's told their classmates to come over an hour later , because he had an urgent matter to attend to (which was obviously to ambush Beniko, tie her up and leave her restrained and half naked in Sora's closet). He forcefeeds her some water and hides her there, closing the closet's door just when their classmates arrive.
They all go to Umi/Sora's room and sit around to hang out, staying there for hours, talking and joking around, while Beniko is still trapped inside Sora's closet, naked and forced into a very awkard crouching position, due to the ropes on her legs, and really hard pressed not to make a sound because she knows that if her classmates find her then all the boys in their class are going to see her naked, so she's positive Umi's done this all to torture her. She even imagines what would happen if Umi decided to open the closet and expose her in front of their classmates, how the girls would be horrified and the guys would be gawking at her, and how Umi would say something like Beniko didn't try to alert them to her presence which must be because she was trying to protect Umi from being found out, and that this probably means that she loves him too much to let him be caught.
However, Umi doesn't open the door, and Beniko hears the girls wondering where Beniko is, and deciding to send her a text message. She panicks because her school bag and cellphone are in the closet with her and they will probably find her once they hear her phone ringing. But Umi makes the girls yelp, covering up the sound, by knocking over a bottle and spilling water all over them.
Once they're all finally gone, Umi takes her out of the closet and tries to carry her downstairs but she starts thrashing wildly, making him drop her and then he falls down the stairs (Beniko doesn't fall down the stairs with him). Seeing him motionless at the end of the stairs Beniko has a flashback of Sora's accident and starts panicking, but Umi tells her to stop yelling because he's fine. He's surprised at Beniko's relief that he's still alive, and taunts her saying it would have been more convenient for her if he wasn't, but Beniko reacts badly by slapping him hard, grabbing him by the collar, and angrily ordering him not to speak so gratuitously about death again. Umi seems shocked.
She finally lets go of his collar and moves away, no longer paying attention to him as she starts crying, devastated. Umi's look becomes somewhat tender and suddenly he pulls her and kisses her forcefully. She stares at him in shock till he pulls away and tells her that he's not Sora so he's not going to die, besides he can't do that because he needs to be alive in order to continue tormenting her. Then he lets go of her, curses aloud and begings walking away. Beniko thinks to herself that she's being swallowed up by Umi's lunacy, though just now she was able to feel slight a tremor in the depths of his madness.
In chapter twelve Beniko has a flashback of her and the twins (Umi and Sora) when all three were together in kindergarten. The teacher offered them three slices of cake, but only two of them had a strawbery on top while the third didn't. Little Sora and Beniko immediately claimed the strawbery-topped ones for themselves while little Umi only looked on, so the teacher intervened that Beniko and Sora were always rushing in first and they should allow Umi to get first dibs for once, because strwaberries were his favourite. However Umi chose the strawberry-free slice of cake, saying that was what he wanted, in spite of everyone else knowing otherwise.
Back to the present, Beniko starts wondering whether Umi really prevented her from falling down the stairs along with him (managing to change the course of the fall so that he would be the only one), and if he really did, then why did he save her. She keeps thinking about his last kiss. The next day at school Umi's friends ask her why she didn't show up at Umi and Sora's house the day before, and she manages to brush it off while thinking she's too embarrassed to look at her friends in the face, remembering how Umi had left her bound and gagged in a closet half naked while all their classmates were hanging out non-the-wiser in the same room.
Beniko is charged with cleaning the school swimming pool and Umi of course takes the opportunity to come pester her while she's all alone. She seems resigned to her "bad luck" and chooses not to run away, instead thanking him for saving her from falling down the stairs the day before. She says that even if he wasn't actuallt trying to save her, she's still indebted to him for what happened to Sora (how Umi's twin died while saving her from that oncoming car). She says she will clean the pool on her own so Umi can go home early (she seems to think Umi was sent to help her) and Umi wonders to himself if she's actually worrying about him. He tells her not to be so kind to him because to him it would be more entertaining if Beniko died, then pushes her into the pool, only to jump after her.
In the pool, grabbing her roughly from behind he starts mocking her for thinking he was trying to protect her, calling her "easy" while he rolls up her blouse and keeps groping her everywhere, but she notices his touch is a lot more gentle than his words. She's completely dumbfounded when he makes a pause and suddenly hugs her from behind, holding her close to him lovingly, in the middle of raping her. Later at Beniko's home, Beniko thinks something's started changing between them ever since Umi stole Sora's ring from her, and that Umi's occasional gentleness frightens her a lot more than his madness. Looking at Sora's picture, she whispers to herself she will only love Sora, only to notice Umi spying on her through a window.
Next day at school, Beniko meets a new guy who's a transfer student and turns out to be Beniko and Sora's old elementary-school clasmate. Beniko doesn't remember about him, but when he asks about Sora and she tells him about the accident. Umi sees this and ambushes her alone, forcing another hug and kiss, and saying that Sora didn't die in an accident, but that Beniko murdered him. Later on Beniko's followed by the new transfer student, who claims to live near her house and drags her along the same pathway where Sora died. She starts having flashbacks of the accident, begins screaming and has a nervous breakdown. The new guy doesn't know what to do, but Umi shows up to glare at the guy and take her away.
At Beniko's room, when she wakes up she sees Umi and mistakes him for Sora. She doesn't seemto be in her right mind and keeps hugging him and kissing him, saying she had a horrible dream where he had died. She asks him to hug her and even gives him a hickey, saying that he is hers the same way she will only be his, and will love only him and nobody else. Umi pretends to be Sora to put her at ease, then says that he's always loved Beniko, since a long time ago. Leaving her asleep on her bed, he thinks that for her there will only ever be Sora, that he doesn't think she's to blame for Sora's death, and that he doesn't want to betray Sora. Then he leaves. Later when Beniko wakes up she wonders how she got home and wonders if she really dreamed about Sora or if was actually a dream when he said he had always loved her.

I was hoping that umi falls down and smash his head at first coz he is such an asshole but now I actually hope that they will end up togather ... but let me say beniko is really stupid and doesn't know what to do (I hate that she really is easy she dont make any effort to stay away from him ) really makes my blood boil (╬￣皿￣)凸... I mean come on he is a fucked up psycho RUN 4 UR LIFE!!(〜￣△￣)〜
