This girl was a beggar, she used to ask for food on the streets and had to take care of her father, as her friendship with the noble girl starts developing she has a make over and people start so see her in a better light instead of a beggar she is now the "best daughter", there was a monk that used to support her when she looked like a beggar but now he hates her for looking like a girl, it was set in a historical korean period, I can't tell which one, I used to read it in other page but I have stop ever since they stop updating :(
