i recommend reading webcomics from tapas, there's a lot more variety and diversity in the plots

Cheese in the Trap: college romance but with complex characters.
Killing Stalking: trapped in a house with a serial killer.
Our Relationship Is...: one of my favorite slice of life esque romances.

First off, Ennead is so fucking good bro I'm used to reading stupidly convenient and useless stories that go along the lines of "you spilled juice on my Gucci suit, be my sex slave now" or "the only way to cure them of their disease is sex" and I was sort of expecting that from Ennead but I was so wrong.
SPOILER ALERT
It's so complex, and the character designs and plot are great. I thought I was just gonna end up simping for Seth and wanting him to be with Horus and all that but now I want him to go back to his wife and child??? He never deserved any of the torture and hate and utter despair he's had to go through. He holds his burdens alone and plays the villain of everyone else's story and that makes me so incredibly sad for him and I just want him to get a happy ending. Horus isn't interesting enough for me to ship him with Seth which is even better for me because I just really want him to be free of Osiris and go back to his fucking family.

And then they brought the rape and abuse and manipulation into the mix and suddenly I love the story even more??? I don't love rape and abuse but it just adds so much more depth to the story than I could've imagined. You think for a second Seth is gonna be the villain turned bottom of the story but no, he's the victim. A physically strong but mentally weak man who has no one to lean on and is antagonized by the entire world. The man you thought was the actual victim, Osiris, was manipulating Seth the whole time?? And abusing and gaslighting him??? And then his fucking son straight up rapes him? Not even that "Ahhh I like it this is rape but let's ignore that for the plot of the story" bullshit I see in every Japanese manga but legit rape??? It fucked me up so hard man like look at his face he's straight up disassociating.
But enough with this tangent, are there any mangas or manhwas that are like this?? Doesn't have to be the same category but has to be shounen ai or yaoi with preferably good art styles.
