Unfortunately you are right. Though that kind of female character... it's not like that in japanese manga only but in the majority of asian works generally. The villainess genre slowly changes things finally I'd say.
I can't read it anymore.
The black and white style seems too outdated in the age of webcomics and the characters and stories are too bland and cliche.
Especially, the female roles. Usually, dumb , naïve and servile to the ML or men in general.
The relationship dynamics between the genders are usually very toxic.
