i enjoy this story but them being 18 years olds who were reborn actually adds nothing to the plot if they aren't going to behave the way that their mental age suggests. like the author could've just made them normal kids who grew up in an abusive home and it would be the exact same. i just don't understand what the point of emphasizing that they're mentally 25 at the beginning of the story is for if none of their actions corroborate that.
