Me too. Yooo I feel happy that I’m not the only one that feels like she needs to be slapped and then the Duke later finds out. Like he cant always be there for you baby. Defend yourself. She made a whole ass business that’s successful and she can’t even defend yourself.

But how do you expect her to do that? In both lives she never learned self defense. And being a successful businesswoman does not mean she knows how fight barehanded.

When I see her I think that she is a successful business person that has balls. But to see her get slapped by her own father and then the Duke comes out of nowhere and protects her that’s like saying she can’t defend herself but she can deal with people talking behind her back and know what to say and running a business that deals with a lot of politics (“a mans jobs” in that society). All I want is that she’s handling her own battles but of course like you said if the Duke does come in I will still like it. I want something spicy, you feel me. ლ(´ڡ`ლ).
I know this sounds rude but I want him to slap her so the duke can see the scar later because I’m getting tired of him trying to save her and stuff like that you know that’s not realistic.
