That's what i know. In the spoiler forum of this manga, it said that the author died from traffic accident. Apparently, thr author was planning on working for the next volume (the novel) of this series.
Light novel author for Offense and Defense in Daites (ダィテス領攻防記). Vol 8 of the light novel was the last release, in June 2017. Vol 8's synopsis suggests the story was still meant to continue. Tragically, the author passed away in a traffic accident in August 2017; according to Wikipedia, she was struck down by a car and passed from hemorrhagic shock after.
