me too i felt that way too like she is trying to avenge her sister and get to the top and she has no remorse because these people were basically the reason her sister and the "jabami" family is almost died out
I have a theory that Yumeko is there to avenge her sister, I think she is there for something that goes beyond the president's seat and she probably thinks Mary is perfect to help her with her goal. Maybe Yumeko is not even her real name? I don't know, but I can't stop thinking about that time at the very beginning when Yumeko was about to be sexually abused by those men. She didn't resist at all, she doesn't care if she ends up getting hurt and I don't think it's because she likes it. Perhaps it's because she feels guilty, she may be trying to suffer on purpose so she can create a balance between her suffering and the one of her sister who's in the hospital. When she said that the point of gambling is not the risk or something like that, I wondered if it is the fear of losing. Losing something HUGE, something every normal person would be scared of losing like a limb, that's something midari mentioned before and even yumeko liked but not the risk, more like she is trying to feel something? idk but I fear she might be trying to put herself in the same situation of her sister while at the same time revenging her
