Uhhh well, in the previous chapters, there was a flashback when Mo's father was imprisoned (and still is) when Mo was still a child and he became a problem kid when he got involved with She Li at school. There was really no background about She Li, he's just a downright asshole and he pins down Mo all the time because he thinks Mo owes him something and He Tian just took Mo under his wings because he needed money until they developed into this now. I'm sorry if I confused you even more. I'm explaining based on what I can remember, it's been a while lmao it won't take you long to reread this whole webtoon tho so there's that (＾▽＾)
