it's not wrong to show a murder in a film, comic, book or whatever. it's not wrong to show rape either. what IS wrong tho, is letting it appear as a good thing. there is a difference between using rape/murder/pedophilia/etc for the sake of a story and sexualizing/fetishizing, making it seem like it's okay to do so. you can use ideas like a character who went through a trauma or making a killer the main character, but it is NOT the same thing as using rape as a fun part, as pleasure, completely downplaying how serious of a problem it is.
so yeah. i agree, it is not wrong to use rape for plot. but only if youre not portraying it as a good thing.
