The only one we saw trying to help her or at least talk to her was Gwain, the guy with the same hair color as her. He got hurt and after that he probably thought it. But I totally get why she acted like that in the first place. Nobody stopped anything. The grandfather sure as heck didn't. This is your house, you should know exactly what is going on! I don't see how they didn't approach the red head tho. It's not like they would have lost any benefits, just put her in her place. Cause the red head's family is mostly benefitting from the deal anyways.
