It’s not the same thing. Curtis is her second partner, Parker is her first and like obviously he’s aware that being with more than one person means that shes gonna give attention to Parker as well so she’s not doing “things behind his back”. And like... she’s already really biased towards Curtis
I feel like Curtis is too damn possessive. Idk how snakes rlly act with their partners but since we’re viewing them as human-like, I just find it really annoying.
