I felt myself really confused by the story in the first few volumes and even by the end I wasn't 100% sure if I understood it all. I felt like the debt twist was a rather lame one. "You paid me back so I'm going to give you the money back so you can owe me again 'cause reasons". Like .... what? I get that he's supposed to be the villain and wanted to use them, but ... come on. That was a lame choice. I didn't read the author's notes, but then I shouldn't have to. It was a great idea, but it failed. The story was also so focused on the middle brother's fear of sex and then that was resolved in two pages.
