What I think happens is that we see them as humans but they’re actually animals.Like...um...erm...When they do the “do” they appear as humans for us to comprehend what’s going on but if a person from the story walks by them they’ll just see two animals doing the “do.”Sorry if it didn’t make sense....

Yeah but on the last chap they appear as human like the guy didn't recognize the dog and even shot him and then when he blinked they turned into animals, like the heck is happening?
