I think we can have both a realistic and happy ending if the author carries on the story with the same level of depth as they have so far. It'd be nice to see that, even in a realistic depiction of homesexual relationships, it is possible for Yamato to have a happy ending after all he has suffered
Like I know alot of people are shipping yuiji and yamato but to me this manga is like less of what fiction that goes on generally in the yaoi world that's liek 2 staright guys somehow manage to love eachother although I love that, it's not true in real life people of LGBTQ+ generally tend to be different and in a way this manga represents what actually goes on in that individual life and how venerable it can and it's mostly scary for the person even if the environment they grow up in is safe and thisanga I believe is showing us that how yamato is both getting support and also being harrased and how he had to hide any way although I believe it may be nice to see them together but I'd like to see a more realistic end I guess
