Why would it follow a Korean meaning? Don’t they all have european names?
Isn't Yuri a name for men in Eastern European countries? (Like Russia, Moldavia, and so on)

Yuri means glass but this might be a second meaning I'm thinking about. But it could symbolize shattering the plot (Mellisa) or something similar. maybe its because she was weak before?
Well it is a story in a story , remember how Melissa was disappointed with festival because the author just wrote a Korean one instead of European one. Yuri is technically the MC in the original version and it would make since that the only one with a Korean name would be the one the audience (Mostly Korean women) would be able relate to.
But like do y’all actually know what yuri means in Korean? It means “the light of God” so I think that ghost looking thing could be a god or angel perhaps
