I agree I was really looking forward to it but it is moving really fast, I wanted to see all the small things with the duke family that the anime opted out
Yeah ╮(￣▽￣)╭ all the emotional parts such as when he came home and see the Duke family and when he get the metal slime feel force and lack it's appeal ╥﹏╥ I feel so sad about it cause I was really looking forward to though scene the most
I was looking forward to the scene showing how amazing he is like discovering how create the different type of slimes or the parts where they constantly misunderstanding the hardships in his life

Also I just checked out the english dubbed and I think the voices are good and I think I might like it a little more than the sub just for ryouma and the Duke voices
Thought that don't mean Ill forgive them for ruining the feel of the story but at the very least I'll continue in English dub
I came across the anime first before continuing with the manga lol and although i agree with you, i just think that they made the anime more kid friendly since mc is also a child
I hate to say this but I don't like the anime (︶︿︶)＝凸 I really like the manga and I was really looking forward to the anime. but the anime moves way too fast and it feels like they are pushing ryouma in a relationship just because (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ not to mention in the manga the interaction with the Duke family flow so well but in the anime ever thing feels forced
