I admit that a long time ago I almost quit at the begging too. I did not see how Skyler could ever be forgiven or how this relationship would make sense. But the story is really worth it. They both derserved to be happy, to get a second chance. The character development is insanely good and the very high rating is very justified here. If you want, skip to the chapter 26. It's where everything will start to make sense and the story really take a turn. Warning, it is both sweet and heart-breaking. Mant tears were dropped.

I hate this kind of story too. But My starry sky get a pass. Skyler might have used him because of a misundertanding that made him resent him, but most of the bullying was actually done by others. He even got suspended for punishing the bullies once (and that was before the misunderstanding was cleared and all. It is clear that he cared a lot for him but was resentufull because he truly believe that Yeonduck betrayed him and is actually using him like the others). The misundertanding is not stupid either. He believe that Yeonduk ruined his life and betrayed him for various reasons (like preventing him to go with his father when he could have gotten away from his very abusive mother...). When everyhing is revelead and said, there is regrets from both side and they try to make up for the lost time. Of course it's a question of taste, but even if it is a "forgiveness" kind of story it is not an "I am still in love with my abuser and the power of my pure feelings will change him" manhwa. Far from it.

Uh well i still don't get why the fuck uke loves him?!?? Like it would have been better if he fallen in love with him after clearing the misunderstanding. It looks stupid how he fell for a guy who bullies him.

They were childhood friend. Skyler was his first love and crush (in fact, he was Skyler's too). And he was never able to let go of his feelings. You can say that he love how they used to be rather than the current Skyler. I admit it's stupid, but at least not baseless. They were very happy together when they were younger, so he has a hard time differenciating between "previous Skyler" and "current Skyler". It would make him too sad to just give up on him and admit that even friendship is hopeless now. It's the same for Skyler. He tried to burry his feelings because he was sure that "Yeonduck his friend" was a lie and a fake but still cared for Yeonduck (reason while even when he hate him he can't help but take revenge against the bullies and still show kindness when he is touched). When Yeonduck finally understand why Skyler was behaving this way, he won't completely forgive him and forget but some of his anger will calm down.

Once Skyler finally made peace with his trauma, got away from his abusive relationship with his mum and realized the truth about Yeonduck's actions and behavior he will finally let his negative emotions go and switch back to who he was before. That his where their "new" relationship will finally start. It's wont be easy, because Skyler did hurt him very much. He will even have to leave him at on point. But because they care about each others they will take their chances.

Okay thanks for explaining, but i have one question has skyler dated others or dates? Cause i hate it when someone's someone's first at everything while the other one isn't, thanks before hand!

I know that Skyler dated a girl once but it ended up horribly wrong. We don't know anything about this relationship. It's possible they never even kissed. I don't quite remember but they might have broken up because of a rumor that Skyler was cheating on her (but it was only a rumor).

Welp, if your dropping this your weak, every chapter feels like walking on a path bare feet with needles, my heart couldn't take it so i cried the hell outta the story and threw my phone seeing the happy ending with no side stories

I just hate this kind of story where uke suffers and then when seme says " i love you" he easily forgives him it pisses me off so much and i just don't get why uke loves him and after reading this kind of story i cant help but think about it how uke suffered and how stupid he was and and i keep getting irritated. To forget this kind of shitty manga I need minimum 2 weeks. So i just don't want to waste my time and my nerves i need them for the rest of my life after all ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Tho, i apologize for saying this or for being rude but it seems you're quite rude yourself, i dont want to start a fight but saying it a shitty manga kinda irritates me, the author did her best to make this weither it'll be day or night, weeks or months it was still hard to make, and also he did regret his actions in the end, every day he regretted it and buried it to his heart, the mc accepted it cause his kind and i bet you wouldn't know what kindness is really like since you've been reading MC's who are rude compared to this angelic uke, this story is just like love is an illusion but the opppsite way, but this story just took it in a dif way,

I wasn't talking about this manga since i didn't read it i was talking about other mangas which i read. And i know what kindness is I'm just able to distinguish kindness and stupidness. And since you don't know what kind of mangas i read don't talk like you know. I just hate stupid and unmature people generally. And i really hated love is an illusion it was such an absurd, don't know why did you mention it. And i have the right to express as i want.
