You can like or hate whoever you want but I think if you look at the narrative in terms of fate, a series of circumstances that had to come to pass for an era of prosperity, while it dismisses the pain suffered by every individual character, isn’t Yona perfect? And not because the author just made her that way, but her environment and history created the perfect balance of pain, love, and understanding for a person suited to oversee matters as terrible as the cruelty, lifelessness, and brutality of political history.
