guys it doesn't matter if hes like 20 and shes 16 as long as the other party is under 18 and the other is an adult its ilegal
Japan laws are different, like they could get married since she is of legal age in Japan. She would only need to get her parents permission to register the marriage
the fact that she still needs her parents permission means shes still a minor. if u look up on google anyone whos over 20 yrs old must ask for parents permission before dating someone below 19 yrs old. the age of consent is 13 yrs old but ur still considered a minor until ur 20
I do not love this kind of gap...
But in most of the countries isn't technically ilegal (the only way it can have problems is if the family acuse of like of something) the age of consent in a lot of countries is like 14...
But if u think a bit doesn't make any sense talking it is ilegal if one is minor (specifically in cases like one being 16/17 and the other being 18/19) the age gap is isn't enough...
Also in most of the countries u can date a person that is below 19 (like being 18) without parents permission.
