I think it looks like a tiny insignificant matter but when you take Shunjis past and mental state, plus the fact he loves Yasu and is afraid to lose him, maybe at that moment it seemed like the logical thing to him. I mean he could've been so desperate to do that. I hate how people just see a cheating and be like : oh he's a damp cheater. get mature
