i mean, they were basically asking for it, what did they think would happen when they killed and enslave an entire race lmaooo, im on erens side and always will be. even after this, it sucks that he has to kill innocent lives to achieve freedom lmaoo, i honestly wish eren was stronger, it was all to much for him that he lost himself. i don't blame him, i would too. revenge is never the answer and eren will probably just cause more problems but give him a break, he seen so much people die and be eaten by titans and those memories of everything and the truth. he is such a complex character tbh i fell like only open minded people could understand. i hope eren at least dies to he can be at piece and have his freedom because as long as you live in a world with humans, there is no such thing as freedom and piece.
