Not how this works. Scanlation often gets a series more attention and makes it more likely to be licensed. If anything this is good news for this series chance at being published in English. Draw more attention to it.
Official English releases depend on a large enough audience to actually KNOW the series, not whoever does it first.
I'm pushing for an official english release of this manga and this scanlator just goes and decides to scanlate. Thanks a lot for ruining any chance of this series getting a physical english print.
