Lol is this possible to have a more useless uke ?

Ahah Nakyum is totally good for nothing ( well, beside being a sex toy ) not only it is hard for me to understand how he fell in love with the seme ( stockholm syndrom maybe ? ) but we have now in bonus the shoujo manga well known scenario " i am being kidnapped come save me strong seme" I know i will be hated but i can understand his rival much better. At least he tries something by himself. This began well, but why now is Nakyum just a stupid hole ?

Tbh I agree.. Maybe it will get better but Nakyum was more interesting at the beginning of the manga and now he's just.. eh.. he's just a hole. We will see ;0; I hope for the author to give him more depth or smth.

Okay but like what else is Nakyum gonna do If he tries to escape he has nowhere to go but if he stays with Seungho he is well fed and "loved". He can't go anywhere without Seungho and his teacher called him a prostitute which destroyed Nakyum. If anything, Nakyum has given up and fallen into a bit of a depression. It's a sad tale

I think Nakyum is pretty charming. The seme is probably in love with him because of how sincere he is. The Seme is surrounded by all types of superficial relationship that he was probably captivated by the uke's sincerity towards his teacher. Yea, he's pretty hopeless, but seriously though, what do you expect him to do? He's basically a commoner stuck in a quarrel between nobles; one false move and he could literally die. The charm of this manhwa is the realism of it. You can't expect him to do batshit crazy stunts that reincarnation novels do.

I understand what you mean by nakyum coming off as useless now but the author already laid it out previously that he has nowhere to go. He has been told to stay away by the ppl who took care of him and In Hun, who he thought was supposed to help him, is gone. What can he do now honestly? Even if he ran away, he's just gonna be in worse off situations since no one's gonna pay much attention to his paintings esp cuz he's a lowborn and ppl who knows about his relations to Seung Ho is prob just gonna try to rape him to get a taste. It's not his fault he got kidnapped and it's not like he can order around people since he's a lowborn like the other dude who hired a killer. At least now, we can hope for character development for both of them

Lol I get what you are trying to say because I hate weak ukes too
But what can my boi Nakyum even do?
His circumstances rn makes it impossible for him to go against Seungho (or any of the other nobles)
Also if he tries to get away from Seungho, he knows that there will be severe consequences ( like Seungho going batshit crazy and killing all his servants)
And not to mention,in the earlier chapter he did try to run away with that piece of a shit teacher and then we all know how forcefully Seungho raped him because of his lil stunt

I can understand he can't do anything against the nobles. But his passive attitude or too good ( unreal ? ) attitude with the other servants is sooo getting on my nerves... Plus instead of crying on himself why doesn't he try to take advantage of the situation ? Can't he try to tell the seme how miserable he feels ? Things like that...

I think he’s acting that way because of what the learned father or whatever tf his name is told him, I don’t think he’ll be like this for the remainder of the manga we just have to wait

I mean we saw what happened when he told him to leave him alone so I would understand why he wouldn’t wanna tell him anything

    Totally agree with you (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I agree. Like when was the last time he even painted anything? He has very little personality to me, unfortunately. All the crying gets on my nerves, too. Maybe if other patrons were demanding commissions, or he showed some kind of drive or passion for art, he’d be a more compelling character.

Seungho comes across as a pretty charismatic character, though; obviously well-built, handsome nobleman with intelligence and unapologetically setting his own course. It is still plausible for Nakyum to love him considering the above, plus the fact that he’d probably have a low sense of self-worth, and the whole power imbalance between them would be the norm.
