Thanks for this. After reading Kuze x Kusakabe I want our old couple back. This was refreshing though it has sad ending but I love the situation. It would have been awesome if Karino beat the hell out of those who did it without Azusa dying at the end. But the writing is so good so no complaints. Good job thanks for sharing it ヾ(☆▽☆) ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Cool. I imagine an ending where Kuze and Kararino pit Azusa and Kusakabe against each other for the king card next round. Kuze will do everything to make Kusakabe fight for the king card (in order to keep Kuse) and Karino will want Azusa to fight to be king and get revenge. I think Karino will have more admiration for Azusa than Kuze has for Kusakabe. I am hoping Azusa will tell Kasakabe to take the card, because he is through playing, and his revenge will be real.
I completely see where you're coming from. Ideally I would also like for Asuza to be well and for his and Karino's relationship to develop. However, I do not see that happening without Karino experiencing the pain of possibly losing Asuza. Only then can he realize what he's done and begin to regret his action, thus growing as a character. You know what I mean? I don't know. I just kind of want to see Karino in pain really badly... =^-^= I wonder how he's going to get Asuza to turn around and begin to love him after all this shit. Definitely will be interesting to see. And I'm getting pretty tired of Kuze and Kasakabe too. I don't know. They just aren't as appealing to me as Asuza and Karino. There's much more potential in the latter's story. Karino already fancy Asuza. But how will he turn Asuza hate into love before he loses his King's position not authority that will be damn interesting to read ::)) I hope mangaka will hurry up now focus on Karino X Asuza. Their love is quite messed up but so good.

Damn. I honestly like to think (in your little fanfic universe) that Kuze was the one who killed Azusa. After weeks and weeks of watching Azusa and Kusakabe grow closer and closer, forming such a strange relationship between their two broken selves, Kuze cracks at last, deciding that if Karino wouldn't crush Azusa underfoot, he would do it for him.
As he turned away to leave the hospital, a malicious grin spread across his face. The only true casualty in this situation was Kusakabe; he had killed Atsumu's one real friend. It was a good thing he had forced him to wait outside, otherwise he would create a scene. He supposed it was sad, as poor Atsumu had never tasted friendship before. But things were okay. As long as Kuze was around, Atsumu would never need friends again. Not ever.

This is what my creepy, sadistic mind came up with as a possible ending to the manga. It is 100% just fan fiction from the mind of a twisted reader. But were all a little fucked up for liking this either way, so here we go. Hope you enjoy!
"The sharp smell of blood was still stuck in his nose. The blood, fluids, torn clothes, bruises and cuts on Azusa’s thin, fragile body kept flashing in his mind. Who did this? It had to be the work of more than just one individual. It doesn’t matter… He’d destroy them all. Shred them all to pieces and make them regret ever crossing their king. But right now, his focus was on Azusa. By the time they got him to the hospital, his breathing was shallow and his heartbeat was faint. It was like he was fading away. The fear that spread throughout Karino’s body was nothing he’d ever experienced before. It wreaked everything inside him until he felt like he couldn’t breathe. He was in the waiting room beside Azusa’s sobbing mother and Kuze. It’s been over two hours since they’ve arrived and have yet to receive any news on his condition. Dread filled him more and more with each passing minute. ‘Azusa…’
The sound of footsteps approaching made them all shot up. A doctor stood before them. His apologetic face said it all. “I’m sorry”, he said with a solemn voice. Karino froze. His blood ran cold. Azusa. Strong willed Azusa. It’s not possible. He’d never give up so easily. He was Azusa.
Azusa’s mother cries were heard echoing throughout the halls. She was in the room saying goodbye to her son’s lifeless body. Karino stood frozen in place. He couldn’t process this. Kuze reached out and gave him a light shake, “We should go.” Karino looked at him in shock. “What? How can you even say that…”
“But this is what you wanted, right? To break him. Shatter him completely. You stood by his side, the closest to him, and watched as he slowly faded. You constantly humiliated him to strip him of all that pride you hated so much. You crushed him to the point where there is nothing left to save. No one who could save him. Not even you. No matter how much you might want to now… Come on. There’s nothing left for you here anymore.”
