I agree with everything you said! Like I find myself cheering/simping for Dowun too but I know it’s only because he’s attractive. If he wasn’t as pretty most of the comments would’ve along with I would’ve been bashing him. Also, I agree with you about that female guard. It seems like the guard was manipulated in the same way as Lyon. The guard’s existence takes away from the fantasy that Lyon was special to Dowun and instead it reminds us that Lyon and the guard were both just pawns to him.
I saw another person comment abt how dowun is an example of pretty privilege and I agree so much. Bc of the fact that he’s good looking y’all completely disregard all the terrible things he’s done, even to his on blood, to the point where his own brother wants revenge.
