I can kind of understand how both sides are being selfish. Yeah, the athletes are REALLY selfish, I mean seriously? They don't even say thank you or anything. But at the same time, as everyone read in the last chapter, the uke has a bunch of free time and no job even, while the athletes spend all day practicing, it'd be nice to go home to a nice cooked meal right? I don't see why the uke has a problem doing the house chores other than the fact he doesn't get a thanks.

but he doesn't want to do it...imagine you don't want to do something and you're basically forced to do it on a daily basis because it's so convenient for everyone else. And when you finally stand up for yourself you're guilt tripped into continuing by people telling you "you're selfish" etc. tbh he's not their parents. he's not obligated to do it, or responsible for them and if he says he doesn't want to, then saying thanks isn't even fulfilling. just because you have free time doesn't mean other people can use it for their convenience.

let alone on top of being used like that, after he finally wants to do something for himself he's told no because he's being too selfish and not being the useful convenient person they want him to be. it's so stupid. he's not selfish and the rest need to let go and fend for themselves. who the hell do they think they are tbh.

no, he has free time because he stopped doing their housework. Before he had no free time except for student council work. And how can you find a job when you have to clean the house, do laundry, go grocery shopping and cook dinner for that amount of people. I get the comment about coming home to a hot meal but they don't have school everyday and none of the rest of them makes dinner for him on those days.
